Announcing the 2023-2024 Board of Directors Slate

MRN issued its slate for the 2023-2024 board of directors with Kitty McIlroy, Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority, nominated for presidency and a two-year director term. Members will vote on the slate at the Annual Conference on June 12 at Turf Valley Conference Center.

Michele Blair, City of Laurel Office of the City Administrator,
and Anthony Drury, Washington County Department of Public Works, are nominated for vice president and secretary/treasurer respectively. The slate also includes six individuals for a two-year term as director.

The board of directors sets the direction for the association, actively engages in legislative advocacy throughout the year to promote a healthy sustainable environment. They also provide a sounding board for members who are encouraged to contact any of the board members to share your thoughts, feedback and questions about MRN, legislation or related to recycling.
