MRN Volunteer Team Helps Boost Reuse at The Loading Dock

Published on 6/28/2024

A group of dedicated MRN volunteers braved the heat Thursday afternoon to help the folks at The Loading Dock in Baltimore identify, sort, organize and store a wide range of donated materials to help the non-profit fulfill its mission to “increase the supply and use of affordable building materials for housing and community improvement by redirecting landfill bound, reusable materials into productive use.”

The volunteer team of 10 provided 30 volunteer hours and helped make about $10,000 worth of product available for TLD clients. Plus, one team member provided additional administrative assistance, which in the very words of TLD staff was "priceless." Read a quick summary and special thank you from TLD.

Thank you to all who came to help!
