On February 2, Dave Mrgich, Chief, Waste Diversion Division at Maryland Department of the Environment, walked us through highlights of the Maryland Recycling Act from inception to the present. He will cover major provisions of the act, amendments & complimentary legislation (e.g. Electronics Recycling Program, 2013 Composting Bill, etc.), regulations, key metrics and results to date.
