The Maryland Paint Stewardship bill (HB 18) has passed the House (93-43) and moved to the Senate Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs (SB 143) where it stalled last year.

MRN supports this bill and hopes you can help get it across the finish line by contacting members of the Senate committee and letting them know you believe that if passed, the bill has the opportunity to substantially increase recycling opportunities for a fairly ubiquitous product that is often hard for consumers to know how to properly dispose of.

Please reach out to any or all the committee members and let them know you would like to see this bill become law. Your voice can be the critical push needed to get it passed, especially if you are a constituent of one of the committee members.

Thank you for your support!
